Hindu community needs your voice. The South Cambridgeshire District Council is deciding which faith group receives dedicated land in Northstowe Phase 1 — and public support directly influences this decision. Follow this simple guide to submit your response today.
The consultation form has 14 questions — most are quick Yes/No or multiple-choice. Only 6 require a written response. Here is the full journey from start to submission.
Most supporters complete the form in under 10 minutes. Preparing your written answers in advance (see the guide below) makes the process even faster.

Step 1 – Go to the Council Consultation Page
Click the button below to open the SCDC consultation portal. Take a moment to read the background documents on that page before proceeding.
Once on the consultation page, follow these steps to access the form:

Find and click the Provide Feedback button on the consultation page.

Enter Your Email
Type your email address and click Continue.

Enter Verification Code
Check your inbox for a verification code and enter it to proceed.

Create a Password
Set up your account with a password — you are now ready to fill the form.

Select Both Bids & Complete the HSN Section first (Bid #1)
Step 4 – Select BOTH Bids to Comment On
At Question 7 (based on attached pdf), when asked "Please select the proposals you would like to comment on," you must tick both options:
✅ HSN (Hindu Samaj Northstowe)
Select this first — fill the HSN section before moving on.
✅ NCN
If you want to, select this second bid — fill the NCN section after completing HSN.
Step 5 – Fill the HSN Section First
Most questions are quick Yes/No or multiple-choice. Only 6 questions require a written text response — these are marked in blue in the attached pdf (Questions 9–14).
💡 Time-saving tip: Prepare your answers to the 6 text questions in advance (see the next section), then simply copy and paste them into the form.
You can skip any optional question if you wish — but the more detail you provide, the stronger your support will be.

Your views on NCN will not affect your support for HSN
Step 7 – Submit Your Response
Once you are happy with all your responses, click Submit. You will receive a confirmation email to confirm your response has been recorded.
